Bio

By way of my education, I am supposed to be a special collections librarian/archivist, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and a Master’s in Library Science.  I have found that I would rather be making something creative.  After attempts with acrylic painting, pastel drawing and ceramics, I have discovered fabric as my creative outlet.  Since learning the basics of sewing in 2009, I have been sampling as many art quilt techniques as I can through classes and trial-and-error.

My foray into textile art has resulted in a growing collection of vintage sewing machines, all of which I use in my creations.
